Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day in Utah is a real deal. It's so much fun! I love how festive people are here. Our cute neighborhood does a little parade every year for the kids. The girls love it. Here's the girls all ready to roll... And off they go!

This year I decided to do a free strawberry lemonade stand. It was a big hit and I really enjoyed doing it.
Our Bishop always rides his skateboard. How funny, huh?
Sweet Kaleigh
Sweet Peyton ♥
And poor Sweet Shayla! She fell off her scooter and badly skinned her knees and hands. I felt so bad for her.

We love and appreciate the Pioneers for all they went through!

Summer Break 2010

Summer Break was lots of fun! We did many things including swimming, water and splash parks, museums, family fun centers, trips to the lake and lots and lots of play dates with friends. Here are some favorite memories from those times...

Brace Face!

Most of you know this but I got braces! Yep. I did. Hopefully it will fix the horrible TMJ I have developed. If not, they will give me perfect teeth. Here's me before... And after! I have been completely hating them up until a week ago. I have had them almost 7 weeks now and are pretty use to them. My teeth have moved SO much and are almost perfectly straight already. Exciting stuff!

The girls have been very fascinated by my new hardware. Especially Peyton. She found this metal ring and put it in her mouth and said, "Look! I have braces just like Mommy!" Ha! She's so funny. :)

Ha!

One of my favorite quotes says, "Laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life". Isn't that true? Well, my kids make me laugh EVERY single day. They are just hilarious and it's usually just little every day things like these...
...leaving their fake nose lying around. They also like to hijack the camera and take silly pictures when I'm not looking.

Scott has always been the hair cutter for his family but since moving away he's taken on some new clients like...our guinea pigs!
Peyton REALLY wanted to dress her herself one day and since we had no public appearances, I let her. Ha!
I love opening a shower to find this... (Ken's a lucky man!)
We found HUGE marshmallows for Smores and they crack us up.
Anyone who knows Peyton knows that her "Colettes" are precious to her. Well, recently she discovered the art of painting them. Ugh.
Shayla loves to play doctor. Here's a recent patient with Dr. Shay.
Peyton got a new Colette with boobs bigger than mine! :) It's weird.
Speaking of BOOBS....
We caught a bug!
Check out these curves!
Is it just me or does Peytie Pie strongly resemble the little girl in UP?! :)I'm not sure why but the girls are lately obsessed with all things pregnancy and stuff their dresses.
Stretchy pants!!!!!
After Peyton recently saw "a man" in her room one night she insists on wearing this every night.
Kaleigh FINALLY lost tooth #3 and was super duper excited!
We went to the water park and I made a trip to the concession stand. The girls thought that would be a great time to snap pictures. They crack me up!

Isn't this all a girl needs in life; boots and a pair of handcuffs.
Whoa!
Watch out!
Kaleigh drew up directions on how to make a mask. Besides the fact that she looked really scary, I was impressed.
Suz and I crack each other up!
Our eyes tend to be bigger than our stomachs and a lot of popcorn (and $) gets wasted at the theatre. Here's our pathetic end to our large popcorn...
I love that Suz likes to drop it like it's hot with me! We definitely have that in common. :)

Ahhh, life is fun!
