Scary Email...
We've all seen that email where you're told to stare at a picture for 60 seconds and then a scary face appears and screams at you. It has almost caused me to pee my pants at times! lol. I thought it would be funny to see what the girls' reactions would be, so I sat Shayla and Peyton down and filmed it. The result was priceless! (i'll capture Kay later)
The B-Day Party
Kaleigh's Birthday party was on Saturday. It was a hit! She had a great time. I bought the girls matching dresses for the occasion and they looked ADORABLE!!!! We played a few games....
We had lots of friends here. (about 23) Everything went smoothly and most importantly, Kaleigh had an amazing time and felt very special. I asked her after the party what her favorite part was and in true-Kaleigh form she replied, "when all my friends gave me a group hug!". She is SUCH a sweetheart and we looooove her!

Field Trip Day
Today I got to go on a field trip with all the 1st graders to the Children's Museum at the Gateway. Holy cow that place ROCKS!!! We are sooo getting annual passes. The bus ride was quite an adventure, but I'm glad I got to go. Kaleigh is such a social butterfly, and has so many friends. Here she is with 2 of her closest friends... They wouldn't leave each others side for a second...

An early BDay present...
Kaleigh's BDay isn't until Friday, but last night she got to open Grandpa and Grandma Griffin's HUGE gift. She got sooo much stuff and loved every single thing. (She got lots of outfits, a pair of shoes, hair clips and headbands, a bathing suit and towel, a sketchbook, a Hannah Montana wig, socks, a little pet shop dog, a Barbie kite, a purse with iron-on's, panties, a jewelery-making kit, a science kit, pearl earrings, candy, and her favorite movie. Whew!) Kaleigh's favorite gift was the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". It's her and Grandpa's special bonding movie. My favorite was this ADORABLE bikini! I want one in my size...lol.
A Quick Shout-out
Happy 52nd Birthday to the best dad a girl could ever ask for!!! I love and admire you more than you'll ever know. You are my hero! I hope your day is wonderful... xoxoxoxo

Hooray for Kaleigh!
Friday we were informed that Kaleigh's artwork had been chosen to be displayed in the school art gallery in the main hall. There were only 2 kids out of her class that were chosen. Go Kaleigh! The kids had to make a replica of a 1920's (Cassatt- style) hat. She did a great job!

All Packed up!
Yesterday I left the house for about 30 minutes to do some grocery shopping. I pulled into the garage to find Scott and Peyton in there organizing some things. I asked my dear-old hubby where Kaleigh and Shayla were. He responded, "downstairs playing in their room". Great, right? No! Not even one minute later they came running upstairs in these fancy outfits from Grandma Griffin and exclaimed, "We're all packed and ready to go to Grandpa and Grandmas!!!". They had literally packed 7 bags full of outfits, shoes and books. Shayla even had an entire bag of Pirates Booty (their favorite) for their long drive. As if that wasn't enough of a headache, cause we all know who's gonna have to put it all neatly back, I examined their last bag. It had a straightener, a curling iron, gel, hairspray, brushes and 27 bows!!!! Cute yes, but anyone who knows me knows I have their bows color coded and organized in an organizer on the back of their door. Big headache! I couldn't get mad at them though. After all, the disappointment in learning that they still had to wait 3 more months to go to G&G's was enough!!! The proud packers and all their bags.

Peyton just can't win!
Poor Peyton! She had caught a cold from someone earlier this week and it got worse everyday. She has been having breathing problems and coughing attacks HORRIBLY at night the past few days. Scott and I have not slept more than 3 hours a night for the last few days. It has been killing us! Last night I realized this had to be something worse than a common cold so I took her into the doctors first thing this morning. He listened to her lungs and was worried so he had us go over and get chest x-rays. Then he swabbed her nasal canal. She was so miserable and was hysterical. The results came back. SHE HAS RSV AGAIN!!!!!! He said the cold she caught earlier this week just turned into RSV for her. I can't believe it! He gave me the option to go to the hospital or do things myself, at home. So...we have to give her breathing treatments every couple hours and she has to be in a room with a humidifier at all times. It's not even been 1 full day, and this is SUCH a hassle. I have 2 other kids to take care of and chase around. We're SUPER frustrated but willing to do whatever it takes to get our baby healthy again. Sometimes being a parent sucks. :( Our poor little girl.
Crazy Hair Day
This week at school they had a different themed day everyday. It was really cute. Today's was awesome though! The students got to wear their normal clothes instead of their uniforms and the theme was "crazy hair". I decided to not make my daughter look like a complete freak and just did lots of teased curls. We finished it off with tons of hair glitter. She looked like a total diva!!!
