A Pinkilicious Friday

Kaleigh had no school on Friday so I decided to surprise the girls with a "Pinkilicious" party of our own. They woke up to pink balloons everywhere. We curled our hair all pretty and wore pink make-up and pink dresses. For breakfast I made pink pancakes with pink strawberry milk and strawberry kabobs. I even dressed in my pink-best for the occasion. LOL

We then read our favorite story (for the 100th time) "Pinkilicious". If you have daughters, you HAVE to own this story. It's too cute!

We played games and then went and got pink cotton candy. Peyton was very creeped out by it. We then rented "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and came home and watched it together. If that doesn't prove that I LOVE them, then what does? It was torture! LOL

That night we all got in our warmest jammies and cuddled in mommy and daddy's bed and watched "Zorro".(Thank goodness for a California-King bed) The girls were beside themselves. We have an amazing surround sound in our room, so it was like being at the movies. Poor Scott was sooo sick with a BAD head cold. (Besides the fact that he works 13 hours a day and only gets 4-5 hours of sleep a night. Geez!)
We decided to put off making our pinkalicious cupcakes until all the other sugar wore off, so we made them tonight. They were YUMMY!
The girls adored every minute of their pink day. I did too, actually! After all, isn't that what having ALL girls is all about? :)

That sounds like so much fun Shell! When I was little my mom would throw little girl's tea parties. We'd dress up and have all my friends over. Your girls will remember their pink day FOREVER.

FUN! I've seen this book lots of times but haven't gotten it yet. Now I'm excited to get it! Maybe the easter bunny will bring pinkilicious for Kenna and purplicious for Quinn... : ) One of my girls' faves is Alice the Fairy. Have you read it? The illustrations cracks me up!
