We started the morning off with green eggs and ham. Shayla, Peyton and I did cutesy things during the day and then we had a traditional Irish meal for dinner. It was super yummy! The loaf of bread I made was bigger than Peyton's head. It was so funny!

After dinner the girls went on a scavenger hunt for their pot-of-gold from the secret leprechaun. He hid it under our sink! It was filled with all kinds of goodies that the girls loved. They were so excited!

After that we all got in our pj's and headed to the family room with a big plate of homemade sugar cookies and snuggled under a big blanket while watching "Darby O Gill". It was such a fun day and I just LOVE traditions! Hope you all had a great St.
Patricks Day too....

What a great idea with the pot-of-gold! I may have to try that next year.
How fun! I have yet to do the pot of gold myself! I've always done green pancakes and milk.... but the pot is a great idea!
