Peyton's 1 year check-up

Today was Peytons 1 year check-up, two weeks late. She did great! She weighs a whopping 24 lbs. which puts her in the 90th %ile. She is in the 94th %ile for heighth. That's right where her sisters were at that age. (Shayla was a little bigger) Her doctor was shocked when she recited all 12 words she can say for him. Apparently that's really good for her age. She got 3 shots which hurt her really bad. It was actually the worst I've ever heard her cry. I wanted to cry for her. I love this girl to pieces!!!!!

The Weekend

Saturday morning started off with Kaleigh going to a Halloween party at her school friends house. Since her costume this year is awfully big, we agreed she could just go as a Pirate. She looked adorable!

While she was gone Scott worked hard on putting together the girls' new teeter - totter that Grandpa and Grandma Griffin got them for Christmas. They had it shipped to us early so the girls can play on it before winter really hits. They love it!!!! Scott had to set it up in the living room because it was raining and freezing outside.

After Kaleigh got back we headed out to lunch and then to a pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.

I had got the girls new and adorable Halloween -themed outfits that then had to be covered by bulky jackets because it was so chilly. Darn!
Little Peyton and John Deere
They had an awesome corn maze there that was a blast! The girls (and us) must have gone in it 6 times.

Welcome Fall!!!

Sunday morning we awoke to a winter-looking wonderland! It was gorgeous and crisp. The air smelt so fresh! Go figure, too...it was THE ONLY time I have parked outside the garage!!! My poor car.

And there's the new teeter-totter, covered in snow!!! Grrr...
Later that day it started hailing heavily. Peyton wanted to go out in it so bad, so I let her.If you look closely you can see how big the hail was. It quickly turned into snow. That night Kaleigh's fish, Prince Charming, returned to his throne above. He will be greatly missed. She had him for over three and a half years! (He was a male Beta) R.I.P. buddy...These pictures were after the water works. It was heartbreaking to see how sad they were!

As usual the weekend flew by waaaay too fast, but we loved every second of it!!!

Peyton's 1st Birthday Party

Well, I'm 10 days late on this but a wise man once said, "Better late than never". We had Peyton's 1st BDay party on Sept. 27th. We had some friends and family over for a lunch party. We had lots of yummy food and a real good time! Peyton got a lot of cute clothes and toys that she had no interest in opening. We had to do all the work. (We'll have to work on her manners :) ) She looked adorable, too! I bought her this enormous purple tutu and a matching headband and bow that was almost the size of her head. I normally am against humongous bows. I think they are retarded looking, but this was a special occasion, and she looked WAY cute in it! She LOVED LOVED LOVED her cake and made quite a mess. At the end of it all she decided to stand up, turn around and SIT on her leftovers. It was hilarious! Her sugar high that entire night was out of control! All in all , it was a great party.

Picture Day at school

Today is picture day at school. Kaleigh woke up extra early and was so excited to "get beautiful". I think she succeeded!!!

Friday at the zoo

Kaleigh didn't have school on Friday so we decided to hit the zoo! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, it wasn't too crowded and all the animals were out on display. It couldn't have been a more perfect day! At the ape exhibit a baby orangutan was infatuated with Peyton. She kept coming up to the glass and tried to repeatedly touch Peytons face. It was PRECIOUS!!! Then, at the tiger exhibit, he was enthralled with, I think, my shirt. The tiger kept coming up to the glass where I was and was staring at me! I thought it was because he could feel of my love for big cats (LOL), but others around thought it was my leopard print blouse. Who knows...but it was AMAZING! We had such a great time and I just love my girlie's to pieces!!!

SNS Night Out

The other night Suzie and I had our girls night out. (We call it SNS Night Out). We went to Cafe Rio for dinner then we raced on Go Karts, hit the batting cages and played Laser Tag. It was SUCH a blast! I stinkin love that girl!!! We have so much fun together and anytime we go out it's awesome. She always makes me feel like a teenager again. It's priceless to have someone that you know is always there for you and will let their hair down and be 100% silly with you. I love my best friend!!!!

A fun family weekend

This past weekend was a big, and busy one for us. (In a good way) Not only did we celebrate 2 children's BDays, but Scott's Dad, Mom, brother Jeremy, his wife Jocelyn, and their twin 1 year olds, Natalie and Tessa came to visit for a few days. They were even here for Peyton's 1st BDay party, which was special. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed their company. We did a lot of shopping and a WHOLE LOT of eating! The best part was having 5 kids under the age of 6 in the house! It was a riot!!! This is one of the twins, Tessa. (I hope. They are identical so sometimes I can't tell which is which!) :) They are adorable!!!

Here they are with Jeremy in a fire truck. We ran into some firemen at dinner one night and they let us play in the fire truck. It was awesome!

Any time you get the Biehn boys together there is going to be some sort of "eating competition". Here's Scott and Jeremy with a HUGE glob of cream cheese frosting. They are so fun!
We took them to our favorite Philly Cheese steak place, The Downtown Philly. It was yummy! The twins and Kaleigh and Shayla opted for Mc Donald's instead!
Jeremy and Jocelyn with their "pizza steaks". Delicious!!!
Dad and Mom with their steaks too! Yummy! Scott and the girls with their Mc'y D's! Peyton and I with her first Philly Cheese steak. She loved it!

We had a great time! Thanks Dad, Mom, Jeremy, Jocelyn and girls for coming. We love you guys!
