Christmas Dance Recital

In early December we had the girls' Christmas Dance Recital. It was a perfect way the usher in the Christmas spirit! The girls all looked so pretty. Peyton's costume was adorable! She danced to "Chicken Pox For Christmas" so they wore old school Jammie's with their names embroidered on their tushes. It was to die for cute!

Santa came to visit the dancers before the show started.
Here's Peyton's entrance...

And her kiss-blowing goodbye. She did great for a 3 year old!
Shayla danced to "Christmas Of Love" and did an amazing job!

She worked hard and we were very proud!
Kaleigh danced to "What I Want For Christmas" and also did a fantastic job!

What a beauty!
We're thankful to Sarah and Kyle for coming and supporting the girls.
And Suzie too!
Scott and I love watching the girls dance. This is the first year all 3 have been in and it's quite an adventure. Great job girlie's!

Photo Op!

Back in November my parents bought the girls these GORGEOUS dresses for Christmas, and gave them to us early, so I just HAD to have their pictures taken in them. They are darling! My talented friend, Mindy, took the pictures and I was very happy with how they turned out. Here are some of my favorites. I love my beautiful baby girls!!!

Halloween Festivities

There were TONS of fun parties and activities leading up to Halloween this year. Here are a few of my favorites...
I am an Activity Day leader for the 8&9 year olds in my Ward and I LOVE it!!! The girls are amazing and SO adorable. I had a Halloween Party for them with lots of fun games and treats. They all looked so cute in their costumes.
We have some really good friends who we spend a lot of time with and we adore their kids. The girls had a blast making spooky cupcakes with the Whitaker kids.

Shay was Cleopatra for one of her parties. :)
Peyton was a Devil for one of hers. (for those of you who know her well...this is very fitting, i know! LOL) :)
Kaleigh was Ariel from The Little Mermaid for one of her parties. Also very fitting. :)
Peyton was Minnie Mouse for another party. :)
Kaleigh with her carved pumpkin. The girls all did a great job on theirs!
Shay with hers.
And Peyton! With family in town, Scott and I couldn't find time to do ours this year. Hopefully next year!
For the school parade the girls wanted to wear their actual costumes. Here's Spiderella...
And Wondergirl...
Dad, Nana and Mom were able to come. The girls were so excited to have them there. My parents and Grandma were blown away at the amount of parental support and attendance here. The kids all looked AMAZING and we had an awesome time.
Here's Kaleigh in the parade...
And Shayla...

What a FUN holiday!!!

Halloween 2010

Halloween was great! We started the day off with spooky doughnuts. Dad and Mom were at my brothers and Scott was in Omaha on a business trip so the girls and I took Nana to lunch and watched Nightmare Before Christmas with her.

I did LOTS of cooking and then it was time to get ready for Trick or Treating. I let the girls pick their own costumes this year and Kaleigh picked "Spiderella". I tried to be creative with her make-up cause there wasn't much else I could do. :)
Spooky Spiderella...
Shayla wanted to be "Wondergirl".
What a cutie!
Peyton wanted to be a "Cowgirl".
This costume was to die for!
Aunt Suzie stopped by and looked like a sexy cave woman. The girls loved it! :)
We had beef stew and homemade bread. Of coarse I couldn't forget the spooky punch!
Scott was landing in Salt Lake and the girls couldn't wait so I headed out to trick or treat with them. Luckily Mom was home by then to hand out candy for me.
Just as we were almost done, Scott showed up! YEAH!!! Welcome back.... :)
♥
*My beautiful family*
Kaleigh's second grade teacher from last year had invited us over, so we went. She was seriously the BEST teacher in the whole world and we miss her. It was so fun to sit and laugh and visit with her and her sweet family. Kaleigh loves Lori!
Kyle and Sarah had come over and looked adorable as Wolverine and Rogue. :)
Have I mentioned that I LOVE my sissy?!
Scott and I were both supposed to be Pirates, but due to his late flight I was flying solo and that's a-OK. He called me his "wench" the whole night. LOL!
I LOVE my adorable Nana!!!
I LOVE my sweet family also!
After getting back from Lori's, we headed downstairs and ate Pumpkin Crunch and vanilla ice cream and watched our favorite movie..."Young Frankenstein".

It was a perfect end to a GREAT day. We LOVE Halloween!!!
