Tea anyone?

While Sarah was here we decided to have a tea party with the girls. We had delicious tea (hot cocoa with whipped cream) and crumpets (sugar cookies). It was yummy and fun! We gave ourselves English names and spoke with an English accent. The girls loved it! :)

The Annual Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Here are a few pics from this fun activity. There was a great turn out and the kids had a lot of fun. They got lots of candy that they didn't need! :)

SARAH RULES!!!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I ADORE my baby sister, Sarah. I always have. She is 10 years younger than me but yet we are so close. I remember being 9 and BEGGING my parent to have another baby because I just pictured this adorable little girl that I could dress up and play with. She would be like my real life doll. Well, I got everything I dreamed of and more. She is priceless!!! I was lucky enough to have her come back to Utah with me and stay for the week. Everyday of it was better than the last. She left Saturday night and took a piece of my heart with her. Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure....
This is us the day of the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. (In front of Mindy's house! lol)
My girls love her to death! She is sooooo much fun!

I debated putting this pic up or not, and well....it's just too ridiculous NOT to share. Suzie came over one night and we all got carried away playing dress up. We were laughing hysterically! This is me as the "Octo-mom" with Sarah as a Euro-mullet-wearing something. LOL
Here we are at Cafe Rio for dinner. We had an amazing sister-night-out. Thanks Scott!
After dinner we went shopping and then went and saw "The Haunting in Connecticut." It was freaky but fun!
Sarah loves to dress my kids up. This particular day she made Peyton into a gypsy-pirate. It was hilarious and Peytie loved it!
Here she is having a tea party with the girls. She is the best auntie ever!
Sarah and the girls at the Easter egg hunt...
Breakfast with her girlies....
At Huntington Beach....
At Veracruz Restaurant in Downey...
On the carousal at Disneyland....

We are all thankful to have Sarah in our lives. The more time I spend with her, the more I love her. She is going to make the best mommy and wife someday. I miss her!!!!!

An abrupt decision

I am going to TRY to make a LONG story short....Monday the 30th I decided to that me and the girls were going to take a trip to Cali. Scott couldn't go because of work, so I flew Sarah up the next day and we left Wednesday morning. I just felt a need to be with family. We made a stop in St.George to stretch our legs and see the beautiful temple. The trip went smoothly and the girls were all angels! I was so grateful to have Sarah with me for help, but more importantly, SISTER TIME!!! It was great.

The next morning (Thursday) we woke up to head to Disneyland. The girls and I all had matching shirts. Corney, I know. Sarah did my make-up and it was WAY different than what I was used to.
We spent 8 hours with Scott's family, who were all together, and 5 hours with my sisters and nieces. It was soooo much fun! I am grateful to Sarah, who again, spent the whole day with me to keep me sane! I love you T.D.!!!
This is my favorite shot of the day. We went on Thunder Mountain and Kaleigh was scared to death. After the ride she bravely told me that she wasn't scared the whole time. I have this picture to prove otherwise! LOL. Shayla and Brooklyn loved it though! (Trenton and Scott's brother Jeff in the background and then Kaleigh, Brooklyn and Shayla)
This is an awesome shot! It's the girls with all their cousins on the Biehn side. They are an awesome bunch of kids! (From top left : Tayler, Ryan and Shelly. Then: Kaleigh, Shayla and Brooklyn. And on the bench, from left: Trenton, Bradin, Peyton, Natalie and Tessa)
My girls have a lot of friends, but nothing like their cousins! These 4 are truly best friends. My girls adore them and miss them dearly. It was great to spend the day with Scott's fam, but it made me feel so bad that Scott was missing out on it. He would have loved it. (From left, Shayla, Shelly, Kaleigh and Brooklyn)
Then it was SISTER time! Here's Sarah with Maddie, Shay and Kaleigh...
And Lisa and I with Ava and Peyton. Peyton looks mad, I know, but she wasn't. She woke up super sick that morning. Poor thing. Asthma sucks!
Here's the girls looking out at the Mark Twain boat. They all love each other so much! I had a blast with my sisters. I didn't want the night to end, but it did. I miss those girls!
Friday was probably my favorite day. We just hung out with Dad, Mom and Sarah all day and really did nothing. Dad brought us El Taco for lunch (my favorite) and then we all went to Veracruz for dinner. It was yummy! I love my parents to death! They are the BEST parents anyone could ask for. I hate not having them around all the time!!!!
On Saturday Dad and Mom took us all to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Mike flew in from Kentucky and had his girlfriend Megan with him and Corey and Danny, Meg and Axton flew down too. WE WERE ALL TOGETHER, minus Scott.:( Thanks for lunch, Mom and Dad, it was a blast! And delicious too.
After that me, Sarah and the kiddos headed down to Seal Beach to see Nana. We had a great time and I love and miss her dearly! Nana means the world to me.
After we left there we hit the beach for a little walk and shopping. I felt right at home again. Ah....the beach......

On Sunday we all got together at Lisa and Roberts for lunch. It was soooo much fun. I was really missing Scott at this point and feeling a little depressed. Here's an adorable picture of the girls with all their cousins on the Griffin side, minus Axton.:( He was visiting his other cousins that day. I should photo shop him in. Hmmm..... (From left: Maddie, Ava, Shayla, Kaleigh, Peyton and Corey)
Since we were FINALLY all together (a rare occasion) we took pictures of all us siblings. I really miss these guys terribly. We're a fun bunch of weirdos! LOL (From left: my sister Lisa, brother Danny, sister Sarah, brother Mike and obviously, me)
We also got a FAMILY shot. I don't know how my parents survived raising us all. They are the best!!!
After that Sarah, I and the kids headed straight to Vegas to stay overnight. The hot tub was amazing! (Besides the total creep who was following us and staring at us! Yuck!)
After a while Peyton became Sarah's hot tub buddy. She wouldn't let go of her.
Monday morning we woke up and headed back to Antarctica. I mean Utah! Again, the girls were angels and Sarah and I had a blast dancing like morons and rocking out to some dang good music.
Although a little hectic without my hubby, the trip was unforgettable and SO worth it. The girls had a blast with all their cousins and I got some much needed family time. I am so thankful to Sarah who is not only a great help, Aunt and sister, but a best friend to me too!

Scary Email, part 2

Here's Kaleigh's reaction to the email.....so funny! (my poor kids!lol)

Scary Email...

We've all seen that email where you're told to stare at a picture for 60 seconds and then a scary face appears and screams at you. It has almost caused me to pee my pants at times! lol. I thought it would be funny to see what the girls' reactions would be, so I sat Shayla and Peyton down and filmed it. The result was priceless! (i'll capture Kay later)

The B-Day Party

Kaleigh's Birthday party was on Saturday. It was a hit! She had a great time. I bought the girls matching dresses for the occasion and they looked ADORABLE!!!! We played a few games....

Took some great pictures....
Opened lots of gifts...
Played outside and killed the pinata....
Sang to the sweet Birthday girl.....
And ended it with Daddy's ceremonial birthday spankings!

We had lots of friends here. (about 23) Everything went smoothly and most importantly, Kaleigh had an amazing time and felt very special. I asked her after the party what her favorite part was and in true-Kaleigh form she replied, "when all my friends gave me a group hug!". She is SUCH a sweetheart and we looooove her!
