Random

Here are some random pictures I wanted to share. This first one is of Scott and his friend Tyler. They worked the parking at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. These guys are hilarious! They were troopers that day, let me tell you. Here's pretty little Kaleigh.

I cut my hair again. Even shorter! I love the style.
This butterfly lives in our backyard and is HUGE! It is seriously the size of my palm. The girls and I say it's Mikey's spirit watching over us. :)
Here's our pretty little Shay.
Shayla and Peyton are little buddies. That is until Kaleigh comes home from school and then Shayla drops her like a fly! LOL
Here is Peyton's first pony-tail. Her hair is finally long enough! Yeah!
Maybe we should take Shay to see the dentist...
Our flower bed is in full bloom. We are very proud because there was nothing when we bought the house. We've done it all ourselves!
She melts us!
We joke that Scott has 2 wives. Suzie, Scott and I are like the 3 Amigos! lol. I love them!
While we were in Cali Snoop Dogg was driving next to us. I was SO excited! He even said hi to me and did the "kissy-face". Whoo hoo!!!
I LOVE living in Utah! The skies here are nothing short of breathtaking.
This picture is so sweet! Here's Peyton fast asleep on Aunt Suzie. She rocks!
I love this pic too! Scott is the absolute BEST Daddy to his 3 girls. They ADORE him! You can see it on Kaleigh's face in this pic.

Scott's 32nd Birthday

My man is getting OLD! Just kidding. We celebrated his birthday on the 29th. He unfortunately had to work all day so as soon a she got home the festivities began. lol. He opened his presents, which he loved. His favorite item was his very own black IPOD. Now he can stop jogging with my hot pink one. :) After that we headed outside (it was a GORGEOUS day) for his favorite dinner. I made fillet Mignon, corn on the cob, homemade mac and cheese, biscuit's and Chinese chicken salad. He LOVED it!

Here is the birthday boy with his cake and ice cream and some of his decorations.
The next day we left the kiddies and headed out for some ALL DAY fun! It was a blast! We hit the batting cages first. (i am so glad he took this picture. it made me realize that i need to stop working out my arms. don't they look way too MANLY!? yuck.) The guns payed off though cause I kicked his butt.
We drove like maniacs on the go karts!
He was trying to catch up to me here. :)
We played many rounds of air hockey and basketball. We also played laser tag. I might add that Scott set the record at Boondocks for the highest score ever! I was proud.
We felt like newlyweds again that day!
We also played lots of mini-golf. He kicked my butt!
After there we went to dinner at Goodwood. It was AMAZING!!!
I finally let my hair down and got baby back ribs. They were messy, but oh so good!

After dinner we went to the movies and saw Angels and Demons. It was fabulous! After the movies, we decided to go up the canyon. Needless to say, we didn't get home till 2 am. It was the best day ever! I hope Scott enjoyed his Birthday because he SO deserved it! He is the hardest worker I know!

A Special Visit

Soon after we got back from Cali Scott's grandparents came to visit. We were fortunate to have them stay with us for a day. The girls ADORE them and can't get enough of them every time they come. We loved having them here. Here's the girls with Grandpa and Dorothy. Scott loves his Grandpa. Dorothy is the sweet woman he married after Grandma Biehn passed away. Scott loves her too!

We sat and talked with them for HOURS! We love Grandpa's stories of his childhood.
I made them a huge feast that was really yummy. After dinner we watched a basketball game together.
Peyton ADORED them both! She wouldn't leave them alone for even a second. If they dared to take their attention off her she would yell, "Grandpa! Grandma!" and as soon as they would look she would just smile at them.
She must have given them a hundred hugs too! It was quite precious. They LOVED it!

We were so thankful to have had this time with them. Out of all the trips they've made here, this was our favorite. We just had a lot of quality time. We love them!

NO DOUBT!!!

On Memorial Day, me, Scott and Suzie went and saw No Doubt at the E Center. Being LONGTIME fans we knew as soon as we heard they were coming to SLC we HAD to go. It was the best concert any of us had ever been to! We all went out to dinner first and then spent the rest of the night screaming our lungs out. We were seriously on our feet the whole time dancing and singing. Paramore opened for them and rocked too. It was the best night and much needed, let me tell you. P.S., Gwen Stefani is soooo hot! :)

It was her son, Kingston's, 3rd BDay so she brought him out for all of us to sing to him.

Mother's Day 2009

I am trying to play catch-up. My Mother's Day was beautiful! Scott made dinner for me. It was FANTASTIC!!! Here's a picture of it. He also made a homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum! Kaleigh had made me this project at school. It was a pretty vase with 3 flowers that said different things she would do for me. Long story short, 2 were normal and sweet acts of kindness, but the 3rd one said, "I will wipe my butt good!". Seriously! I was mortified that her teacher and friends saw that. She said they all thought it was hilarious. I didn't. LOL. And for the record, she doesn't have a problem doing that, she just knows how grossed out I get by kids with stinky butts. :)

Here's our annual Mother's Day shot. I love these guys!!!!!!
I've always wanted a pair of True Religion jeans, so Scott spoiled me and got me a pair. I LOVE them!
He also let the girls loose at the mall to pick out what they wanted to get me. He wanted them to do it. Shayla picked out this cute black shirt. Kaleigh got me skinny jeans, which I swore I'd never wear. Peyton picked out these PINK shoes. Good job girls! (i returned the shoes) :)

Scott an the girls did a great job of making the day relaxing and special for me. I appreciated it! It was actually the best Mother's Day I'd ever had, until I got the horrible call about my brother that night. :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
