I am so thankful that my Dad was able to come up and spend time with us! He was only able to be here a couple days, but it was so nice. He has been through soooo much lately with his chemo and cancer, really. I could tell he was in a ton of pain and he could barely eat, but he tried to keep smiling through it all. He is such an amazing man!!! My dad is my hero!!! Because of his cancer and treatment he has suffered extreme weight gain, now weight loss, hair loss, neuropathy(extreme hand and foot pain due to nerve damage), loss of energy, loss of ability to due anything physical, itchiness, rashes, pinched nerves, fractures and a whole lot more. Somehow he finds the desire and ability to keep on going to work everyday and continue being an amazing Bishop! He just ended a long and horrible round of chemo and might be beginning a bone marrow transplant next month. We will find out tomorrow. Needless to say, I think my dad is an incredible man! I love him more than words can ever express and it hurts me HORRIBLY to watch him suffer. It seems so unfair that such a good person has to suffer so much. A day has yet to go by without this weighing on my mind heavily. It sucks but I have learned that all I can do is sit back and watch, pray real hard and hope that Dad can somehow beat this. The thought of losing him is unbearable! It just can't happen!!!!!!!!!!!! Please keep him in your prayers everyday. Please!
(sorry for any typos or misspellings. kind of hard to focus when you're balling your eyes out)

Michelle, your dad is awesome. We all love him to death and do pray for your family a lot. We would love to hear about that bone marrow transplant so keep us posted. I'll say an extra prayer tonight that it will happen. If anyone can beat this, it's him. We love you all!
