Scott's Adventure

Scott took a week off to help his brother, Jeff ,move to Erie, Pennsylvania where he will be doing a 4 year Orthopedic Surgery Residency. Scott was able to spend a few days with the girls and I in California and then he, his dad, and all 3 of his brothers left on their cross country drive. They were able to do some AMAZING site seeing along the way! They drove through California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York! Dang! He was able to visit and tour Carthage Jail, Nauvoo, Kirtland, Niagara Falls, Palmyra, New York City (ground zero and Times Square) and Philly (Independence Hall). What an awesome trek! They also ate some really yummy food. That is, if eating New York style pizza at 2 am is your style. Yuck! They were also able to see the Mississippi River that was flooded and all over the news. They had an AWESOME time and loved every minute of it. Scott took a ton of beautiful pictures. (120 to be exact)They got there safe and sound and had a hell of a lot of fun along the way!

Although I really struggled being alone with all 3 kids for a week (who acted up constantly because "they missed Daddy") I am so glad he went. We missed him SO bad! I think I even missed him more than the girls. I just about kissed his face off when I picked him up from the airport. I haven't stopped since. Poor Sarah has had to put up with all the mushy talk cause she's here. Sorry! Yes, Jeff could have done the move without his brothers and they could always go and see the sites on their own vacations, but the father and brother time they got was priceless! There were no kids or wives to worry about. It was just them! Talk about male bonding time! Whew! Myself, Jocelyn, Kris and Carolee are in the process of planning a week long vacation in the Bahamas for just us. Good luck with all the kids guys! J/K, I wish.....
