My dear, sweet Grandpa, Pokie, just passed away a couple hours ago. What a privilege it was to call him my Grandpa! He was a wonderful and hard working man right up until the end. I am overwhelmed with emotion right now. On one hand I am saddened at the loss of him in our lives, and on the other hand I am touched at knowing that he is having the best reunion in heaven! My sweet Grandma Dotty passed away 5 years ago and my Grandpa has been lonely and grieving ever since. It gives me great peace and comfort in knowing that they are together again! I can only imagine the joy they are both experiencing. Now if only that could stop me from crying. I love you Grandpa and I will miss you and see you again someday!!!! God be with you till we meet again...

Oh Shell-- Your Grandpa TRULEY was such a great man! You are right the reunion right now must be so sweet and amazing!Your Grandparents are finally together again! It's so great that we have the knowledge to know that families are forever! I love you, and am thinking of you and your whole family!

Shell I am so sad that Pockie has left us. I will miss him so dearly!! There is no one else in the world that can take his place in my heart, but I am so happy for him that when I cry-I cry because like you said..he has been lonely all of these years and I wish I could be there for that reunion! I bet it is so magnificent!!! I love you so much. Though I am sad that this is why you are coming down..I'm excited to see you. We can all be there for eachother. Love ya!!!
