Easter Sunday

The girls were a tad bit worried when they woke up Easter morning to find NO Easter baskets. Suddenly Kaleigh realized that the "bunny" had left them a note with instructions on the front door. They would have to find and solve all 10 clues in order to find their baskets. Here's Kaleigh reading the note to her sisters. They found clues all over the place. They LOVED the hunt!

Well, the hunting payed off and they loved their baskets!
Pretty cool chicks, huh?!
We then had a nice breakfast while watching Conference, which was beautiful and inspiring.
That evening Scott dyed eggs with the girls while I cooked. And cooked. And cooked. (bad part about living away from family? i have to do ALL the work now! :))
We had a delicious baked ham, cheese potatoes, veggies, homemade rolls and chocolate velvet pie. Deelish!

Although holidays make us feel kinda lonely, we love being just us. We miss all the craziness of running from one house to another but know that the memories we are creating with our little family are priceless! I hope you all had a beautiful Easter as well. :)

So fun! My parents hid our baskets every year. I don't know how they didn't run out of hiding places with 7 kids! We do it now too!
