Yesterday morning was weird for me. Now, first you must understand that I am one of those "control freak" moms who does EVERYTHING for her kids. I am doing them a disservice, I know! Anyhow, I had been in my bathroom doing my hair and makeup and came out to find what I pictured above. Kaleigh had got up, got dressed, made her bed, brushed her teeth, did her hair AND GOT HER OWN CEREAL!!!!! I had no idea she was even up!!! Now, for you moms whose kids do this all the time, no big deal, right? But for me it was HUGE! She did it today too. It's moments like these that you realize your kids are growing up faster than you think (or will admit). Crazy!

Isnt that the truth!! Kids grow up so fast. I too have those moments...when I clue in..."Oh yeah...I am a parent of almost 7 year old." Duh~ how can I forget that, right.
