My Artsy Hubby

I volunteer in Kaleigh's class every week and while I was there this last time her teacher asked me if I was artistic. After quickly telling her, "Heck no!", I told her that Scott is a closet artist. She asked if he could maybe just cut out a big tree for the wall for their upcoming "family tree" projects to hang on. He said he would be happy, so she sent home the butcher paper the next day. That night at 10:00 Scott started his tree. I was blogging so I had no idea what he was doing. When I came out to see the finished product an hour later I was so impressed! It was gorgeous!!! All the cutting and painting techniques he did were amazing. And it is huge! Needless to say, her teacher was more than impressed and thankful and Kaleigh is so proud to have "Daddy's Tree" in her classroom! My husband is amazing!!!
