Weird Coincidences

OK, two things happened today that are just weird! First, I have to explain...my neighbor Teri makes this AMAZING cake. She has made it for me often and every time I devour it. It's a delicate and moist pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. I have the recipe but hers is just so much better. I have been craving it for like 2 weeks and this morning I REALLY wanted it! I contemplated calling her and begging her to make it but decided I'd better just some how find the time to make it myself. So off I went to volunteer at the school. When I got home I found a pan of cake on my doorstep with a written note that said, "Happy Halloween guys. Love, Danny, Meg and Axton." And lo and behold....it was that same pumpkin cake! I couldn't even believe it. That is just weird! Thanks Dan and Meg! You were inspired and it is beyond delicious (and already half gone).
The second thing was....I was going from a meeting to the grocery store. It was like 10pm and on my way I felt impressed to call my friend and see if she needed anything while I was there. I kept ignoring the thought and kept getting this feeling to just call her. Finally, thinking that she would most likely tell me no, I decided to just let it go. I did my shopping and headed home. Driving down my street there I saw my friend backing out of her driveway to make an emergency trip to the store to get something she really needed! Now I don't even know if she would have taken me up on my offer anyways, but maybe that's why I felt that impression in the first place. I could have saved my friend a late night jaunt to the store. Weird!
