Big Girl!

We finally put one of our goals into play. Not only did we move Peyton into a big girl bed, but we moved her into a big girl ROOM! It has been our project for the past 4 days. Kaleigh and Shayla were out of cribs by Peyton's age and for some reason I have had a hard time letting go this time. Here was her last night in her crib... (sob sob)

We moved our workout room upstairs into Peyton's old room and moved her downstairs. Her new room is SO much bigger and right next door to Kaleigh and Shayla's. She has so much room to run and play now and she LOVES it. It's definitely a Princess room for our little Queen Bee! Here's walking in....
The view from the door...
One wall...
Her very own Queen sized bed. We will be buying her a black post bed soon, but this is for the meantime.
Another wall.... (her vinyl lettering is ordered and coming on Monday)
And another. That hideous dresser will be replaced with a big black armoire soon.
Another wall...
And her closets...(that ugly oak frame will be painted black tomorrow)

These pictures don't do justice at all but it gives you the general idea. I'm very pleased with the outcome and can't wait to get her new furniture! :)

VERY CUTE! I can't tell from the picture but it looks like an icy blue or maybe purple on the walls? I love it! What a princess getting the whole room AND a queen sized bed all to herself!
