This Father's Day was set-up to be a great one. I was so happy to have my dad here! The day started out fine with a yummy breakfast and lots of love for these two....
I must say though; it didn't last. I won't go into detail. Considering how many people have called, sent emails and inboxes and texts, most of you know the situation. Unfortunately. It was a horrible Father's Day. I felt so sad for Scott and Dad. I'll be doing a re-do this weekend for Scott. Thank goodness! I tried my hardest to make the best of the situation anyways. Per Dad's request, I made Sloppy Joe's for lunch. He was a happy camper! :)
Scott got some cool gifts from the girls and I. The best was a magazine Kaleigh made for Scott at school. It was hilarious!
Fortunately Sarah and Kyle came over and the girls wasted no time inviting her to play dress-up. She's awesome!
Dinner was delicious! We bbq'd sausages and had homemade mashed potatoes and homemade creamed corn with it. Mmmm! I love my parents so much! They are the best!
I was so happy to have Sarah and Kyle here too!
I felt so blessed to have such an amazing hubby that day. I kept crying to Scott and saying, "I am SO sorry your day has been ruined", and all he would say is, "Michelle, don't worry about it. Crap happens. I'm fine!" What a stud.
I am so thankful for Scott and my Dad. They are such amazing men and father's!

I'm not sure what to say about Father's Day other then you do have some very great men in your life. I think Scott is made of gold. I think Jeff is such a peace maker and a strong man. Of course, I think your brother Danny is fantastic too and I thought a lot about Mike and Corey that day as well.
I'm glad you got to spend the day with your dad and pamper him a bit. What a great idea to have a re-do. I think I'll do that for Danny as well.
Dang girl... I have missed a BUNCH of your posts. (sorry - I am horrible with checking my "private" peeps!) You have been so very busy! It was nice to see you at lunch today! We have a lot of make-up lunches to do!
