February Happenings

Well ,the month is not quite over yet, but I figured I might as well get this done before I go out of town. February has been eventful! Here's some of the highlights...
Scott and I were able to attend a Jazz game in a corporate suite with the other managers at work. The catering was AMAZING! Man, the food was good. :)
The seats were awesome, too! We had such a great time.

I have been wanting to do something with my hair lately, but unsure what. As you know, I usually change my hair very often. This past, almost, 2 years has been the longest I've gone without doing anything. Suzie got a feather extension put in her hair recently and when I saw it I knew I had to copy her. It's very subtle. Most people don't even see it. I love it though!
We went on a double date with Suzie and Ken and had so much fun! We went to Red Robin for dinner and then saw "Just Go With It". That movie is so funny! I highly recommend it.
Suz and Ken ♥
Scott is in school so we weren't going to see him on Valentine's Day. That weekend we decided to have an early V Day dinner at our favorite, Texas Roadhouse. I LOVE my little family!!!All Peyton wanted for dinner was a plate of dill pickles. She was SO happy when she got them, as you can see. This girl is such a crack up!
I look like complete crap in this picture. It was taken at like 2 in the morning and I have no make up on, but you can see my "feather" better here. It's funky!
For Valentine's Day I did my normal traditions with the girls. They woke up to pink heart pancakes and strawberry milk.
For lunch we had a heart shaped pizza. ♥
The girls and I were excited to make frosted sugar cookies for all the neighbors, family and friends. Wouldn't you know our stupid oven broke and kept shutting off. We were bummed. We improvised and made heart shaped rice crispy treats instead. The girls were so excited to get cards, stickers and money in the mail from Grandpa and Grandma Biehn!
My dinner plans were ruined because of the broken oven so Mom invited the girls and I over for dinner. We had chicken tacos and beans. Yum!
The girls loved their V Day gifts from Mom....
Dad and....
Nana! :)
This is just a random pic of my silly girls. They love shower caps! Lol
Suzie took me to Capitol Theatre one night to see "Sleeping Beauty". She's the best! We ate at Cafe Rio and then watched the ballet. It was....um...well....INTERESTING!
It was looong and got weird at the end. Regardless, it was still beautiful and we had a great time. Suz is so good to me and I'm sincerely grateful for all that she does for me.
We can't forget SUPERBOWL!!!
We ate lots of delicious grub and had a wonderful time.
Suzie and Scott.
The girlie's.
Me and my love.
This is so sweet. Story: Kaleigh and Shayla love to treat Peyton like she is still a tiny baby. One night after I bathed Peyton, the girls put the heated blanket on the floor, wrapped her up and even put the space heater on her. She was nice and toasty! They are such sweethearts.
Shay likes to make lipstick out of chocolate. :)
See, it's Kaleigh feeding her "baby". :)
The weather has been sooo gorgeous and the girls have enjoyed playing outside again. (without snow gear)
Last night we did something with my family that we haven't done in a while. We ALL got together and it was sooo nice! Dad and Mom treated us all to Texas Roadhouse. How nice!
Nana, Dad, Mom and Shayla. ♥
Sarah and Kyle. ♥
Danny, Megan and Gabe. ♥
Isn't Gabe a DOLL?!
Scott, Peyton and I. ♥
I LOVE this picture of Kaleigh and Axton!
Kay and Shay had so much fun keeping Axton entertained. He was loving them! It was so wonderful having everyone together again.

I'll have to post the rest later cause I'm tired of blogging now. Stay tuned for more... :)

Our Daughter Date with Kaleigh

One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into our daughter dates. It's something that we used to do, but stopped due to hectic schedules. Scott and I both feel that this should be a priority, so here we are. January was Kaleigh's turn. She got to pick the eatery and activity. We sure do LOVE this sweet girl!!! She is such an amazing blessing in our lives. We are lucky to be her parents! She picked Panda Express for dinner. Chinese food is her favorite!

Then we headed to The Incredible Pizza Company where she wanted to play some Laser Tag.
She's a good little shooter! :)
I love these goof balls!
It was so nice to get some alone time with her. She is so fun to talk to and hang out with.
Then we played some bumper cars. It was awesome!
Then we had some dessert. I love this picture because it perfectly captured why a man shouldn't whisper something dirty right before taking a pic. (hence my facial expression) I told him he ruined our picture! lol
Kaleigh was so tired that she needed Daddy to carry her out and even fell asleep on the drive home. We had a wonderful night and can't wait for our next date with her in April!

Happy New Year! (January Happenings)

I LOVE the New Year! It's such a great time to sit back and ponder the previous year and appreciate all we have in our lives. It's also great because we have the opportunity to make resolutions and improve ourselves. I have a list a mile long of thing's I want to improve on. I am doing GREAT at some, and can do a lot better at others. One of my goals has been fixing my "blog bum" habits. So far, I'm rockin' it! Yeah!!! Let's hope I can stay on track. I have mended a broken relationship in my life and that has been amazing! It's incredible how much stress comes with unresolved problems. I am so happy I've taken the necessary steps to improve this relationship. It's great! January was very busy. Dad, Mom and Nan moved here and we kept pretty darn busy helping them and getting them settled. In between, we were able to squeeze in some fun. Here are the highlights from January. On New Year's Day, we had Dad, Mom, Nana, Sarah, Kyle and Suzie over for some delicious food and TONS of hysterical laughing. Here we are grubbing. :) Silly Peyton!

My midget hubby. :)
We discovered this race where you can only use the strength of your arms. It was hilarious seeing everyone race around with dead legs. We all looked like creepy fish! Scott and I were busting up!
I love this shot of Sarah and Suzie!
Funny girls!
Go Kyle and Sarah!
Scott is such a good Dad! The girls are so lucky to have him.
That night Suzie and I went to a Jazz game and we had a blast, as usual!
The next day (the 2nd) was Suzie's 30th birthday! I surprised her and took her out to lunch. After lunch I was planning on taking her to go rock climbing, but that didn't work out. Needless to say, when we got there we saw how high the walls were and chickened out! Ha! We headed to Boondocks instead and played laser tag, did the roller coaster simulator and played arcade games. It didn't go as I planned, but we always have a blast together anyways. I love that girl!

We discovered that Shayla has an eye defect and needed glasses. She got them and looks so cute in them!
We also got a new leather couch and we LOVE it!!!
It has been so wonderful having Dad, Mom and Nan live here. We have missed that closeness the past 4 and a half years and are so thankful to have it back. They literally live down the street form us. We can see their backyard from our back door. We have spent tons of time with them and we wouldn't trade it for the world! We were able to have our first family dinner in their house and it was SO nice to be able to do that again. Family is a wonderful gift!

For my birthday Suzie gave me a gift certificate telling me that on the 17th she'd be taking me to lunch and a spa. Sweet!!! We ate at Cafe Rio, of coarse. :)
Then we went to The Avenues Day Spa where she paid for me to have a full body 1 hour massage. IT WAS HEAVEN!! Oh my gosh. Here I am on the table ready to be taken to heaven. Suzie couldn't get her body scrub cause she broke out in hives that morning. Sad! She got her make up professionally done instead, and because all my pictures weren't recovered, I have none of her. :( It was an amazing day. Thanks SO much Suz!!!!!!!!!
My cousin, Kiersten, lives in Brigham City and we took the opportunity to get together for lunch. Her daughters, Akira and Sydney are DOLLS and my girls adore them! Every time they see each other it's like no time has passed at all. They just pick up where they left off. I sure wish we lived closer to each other! We went to The Pie for lunch. From left, here's Akira, Kaleigh, Sydney and Shayla. Cuties!
Nana and Kiesten. ♥
Mom and Dad. ♥
Kyle and Sarah. ♥
And Peyton, Scott and I. ♥
Afterwards we went back to Mom and Dad's and visited for a while. I sure love Kiersten! She is a beautiful person. Here's me, Kiersten and Sarah. ♥
And our beautiful girls!

I can't wait to see them again! Happy New Year's everyone!
