Cousins rule!!!

One of the best parts of the vacation was the opportunity the girls got to play with all their cousins. We had the opportunity to stay with Norm and Kris twice so the kids got to play with Tayler, Ryan, Shelly and Bradin. Jeff and Carolee brought Brooklyn and Trenton over to play one day. Natalie and Tessa (the twins) came over and we went to dinner at Lisa and Robert's so the girls could play with Maddie and Ava. (We also went to breakfast at the beach with them) The girls had a blast!!! What great cousins they have! (Unfortunately, I didn't get a pic of Bradin or Corey. Grrr!)

The Happiest Place On Earth

We took the girls, and Sarah, to Disneyland on Thursday the 19th. Despite the fact that there was record breaking heat (101) and humidity and it was PACKED, we had a great time! We went on a lot of rides at Disneyland and even ventured over to California Adventure for a few. The girls all did great and were pooped at the end of the day!

Sarah the GRADUATE!

We had the privilege to attend my baby sister's Graduation on our Anniversary. It was a lot of fun to hang out with the old fam and be there for Sarah. We are very proud of her and love her soooo much! What a sweetheart!

Our Vacation...

Well, as most of you know, we were in California the past two weeks for vacation. We went down so Scott could help his brother move to Pennsylvania, my little sister was graduating and to just see family. We had a great time! I will travel log now....
On our way down we stayed in Mesquite. It was so much fun swimming all day with the girls! They were little fishies who were almost impossible to get out of the pool. Peyton hated the experience at first, but was quickly enjoying splashing around in the water. Now, I normally would NEVER post a picture of me in a bathing suit, but it's the only picture with me in it to prove I was actually there and I worked very hard to have matching bathing suits for me and the girls. Corney, I know, but I love having all girls! They had an awesome water slide which we enjoyed over and over and we ate at a yummy buffet. Fun times!

Happy 8 Year Anniversary Baby!!!

Well, today is our 8 year Anniversary. I can honestly say it has been the best 8 years of my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about how lucky I am to be married to Scott. I know a lot of girls who wanted to marry him. He could have had his pick of any of them, but he chose me. Thank goodness! He is an amazing man! He loves me, spoils me, supports me, listens to me and cares for me. I really didn't expect to feel this way 8 years later. I thought I'd be "used" to him and that fire we had on our wedding day would be a lot weaker. It's so not! I love him more today than I did that day. We have had a wonderful life together so far and I very much look forward to the future. I am eternally grateful to my Heavenly Father for placing me in Scott's path in the right place, at the right time. We were 100% meant to be! Happy Anniversary Scotty!!!! I love you with all my heart...
(We were married on June 17, 2000 in the Los Angeles Temple)

Soccer is over....hallelujah!

Well, today was Kaleigh's last soccer game and we couldn't be more excited. We went from one season right into the next, so we are burned out! She has been playing since January. She did great and learned a lot. She had a dang hot coach this season too! Scott had fun coaching her team this season but is glad it's over. He did wonderful and all the kids and parents loved him. Especially the moms! Lol! Aunt Suzie was even sweet enough to volunteer to be Scott's assistant coach. Thank you, so much, to her for sacrificing her time and gas to do it. It made it that much more special for the kids. Shayla and Peyton were awesome cheerleaders too! Now let's take a break fam....

Happy Father's Day Dad!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Dad! I hope you know that I love you and think you're amazing. You have always put your family first and done whatever you could to give us comfort and security. But I don't think I've ever told you how I see you as a person...I see you as a man of principle who stands up for what he believes in. I see you as someone who is loved and respected by many people, not only because you're fun to be with but because you go out of your way to do things for others. I see you as a man I admire more than words can say. If you weren't my dad, I'd wish you were. I love you to death!!!!!! Thank you for being my dad and loving me...

Happy Father's Day, My Babies Daddy

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband! I am so thankful that my girls have such an amazing daddy. I have never met a man who loves and enjoys his kids more than Scott does. No matter how busy he is, he always makes time for them. He goes the extra mile to show them how much he loves them. I really never thought I could love Scott more...until he became a daddy. He is so patient and cute with them! He even plays Barbies and knows every word to every Barbie movie! (A true sign of his love) The girls worship the ground he walks on and I know they always will. He's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kindergarten Lunch

Toprepare the Kindergartner's for 1st Grade in a couple months, today they got to eat lunch at school in the cafeteria and we were invited to join them. It was so cute watching Kaleigh interact with her friends. Shayla was also so excited to be part of it. And, as you can see, Peyton was pretty stoked too! I, as a mommy, loved every second of it but the best part came after lunch. When we were leaving to go home I was standing in the hall talking to the mom of a little boy who is in love with Kaleigh. She was gushing about how her son, McKay, comes home everyday from school describing exactly what Kaleigh wore and how her hair was done. He is IN LOVE with her (which I already knew because he sends her home with love letters pouring his little heart out) and he quote, "wants to marry her." His mom then told him to tell me what he wants to be when he grows up and he replied, "a cancer doctor." She told me how random she and her husband thought that was because no family members or friends of theirs have cancer. She was saying she doesn't know where he came up with that when he stepped around her and said, "It's because a long time ago Kaleigh told me her grandpa has cancer, so I want to marry her and be a cancer doctor so I can make her Grandpa all better!". OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How sweet is that?! My eyes welled up with tears right away and needless to say, I am going to make sure Kaleigh marries that boy!!!
And in true Kaleigh and Shayla spirit, they came right home and put dress up clothes on. I swear, why do I even get them dressed in the morning? :)

Sour chops

Here's daddy & Peyton doing the family favorite "Standing on daddy's hands" pose. She loved it and felt like a big girl. Now I know that she looks like she's bawling her eyes out in the next photo, but she's totally not. Scott gave her a little taste of a strawberry popsicle, and every time he did, her face would pucker up. She hated it! It was so funny! You would have thought he gave her a taste of battery acid. Sweet girl!

Picnic at the park

Ok, so yesterday was one of those days that I can't help but think, "I love Utah!" It was June 8th and everything is so green, the sky is brilliant blue and the temperature was only 65!!! It's beautiful here! We had a fun picnic at the park after church. It was a beautiful day!

Funny girls...

Kaleigh is such a good big sister! Ever since she learned to read this past year (which she does great at) she LOVES reading to her little sisters. They love it too! For some reason a book is way cooler when it's read by her. Then, last night I was bathing the girls and trying to hold Peyton at the same time (So fun) when I realized that the 3 of them have never bathed together. And since Peyton was constantly trying to dive in with them, I figured, why not! Needless to say, they had a blast and looked super cute. Bath time took forever last night but it was worth it. Then today, Kaleigh and Shayla decided it's Christmas in June. They insisted on wearing these dresses that Grandma Griffin got them for Christmas. Luckily after school and errands! They crack me up!
