Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day is special to me for two reasons. First, my own Dad! Dad, I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am to be your daughter. You bring such happiness and pride to my life. You have always been such an example of compassion, hard work, kindness and love to me. Growing up I never felt that I couldn't tell you things. You always made me feel comfortable, even if we disagreed. Thank you for always being my rock! As a teenager I considered myself a "daddy's girl" and at 28, nothing has changed. You own a very special and huge place in my heart. Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for having patience. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and most of all, THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST DAD A GIRL COULD ASK FOR!!! Happy Father's Day Dad, I love you!!!!

The other reason Father's Day is so special is because of this stud! Scott, growing up I had a fantasy of what I imagined my future husband would be like. Often times I was told I was unrealistic. You have proved that dreams do come true! You have far surpassed my hopes and fantasies. I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I sure am thankful that our Heavenly Father placed you in my life. When we were dating and first married I thought that you were the best that you'd ever be and I was soooo happy with that. All that changed on March 27, 2002. The minute I saw them place Kaleigh in your arms I knew that my amazement with you had just THEN begun. And on September 25, 2004 I again watched as this perfect man became even better as you held baby Shayla. I thought there was no way you could possibly make me love you any more and then Peyton arrived on September 29, 2007. Words cannot express how beautiful it has been to watch you love our 3 little girls. You are perfect and I wouldn't change a single thing about you if I could. Thank you for playing with and loving our daughters. My biggest hope in life is that our daughters will marry men at least half as good as you! I love you babe. Happy Father's Day!!!

***And a Happy Father's Day to my adorable brothers, Mike and Danny, who are also AMAZING men and Daddy's! I love you guys with all my heart!!! I am so lucky to have these incredible guys in my life.

That's a sweet post Shell. It was so nice of you to send a card to Danny - he really appreciated it.
