Mother's Day 2009

I am trying to play catch-up. My Mother's Day was beautiful! Scott made dinner for me. It was FANTASTIC!!! Here's a picture of it. He also made a homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum! Kaleigh had made me this project at school. It was a pretty vase with 3 flowers that said different things she would do for me. Long story short, 2 were normal and sweet acts of kindness, but the 3rd one said, "I will wipe my butt good!". Seriously! I was mortified that her teacher and friends saw that. She said they all thought it was hilarious. I didn't. LOL. And for the record, she doesn't have a problem doing that, she just knows how grossed out I get by kids with stinky butts. :)

I've always wanted a pair of True Religion jeans, so Scott spoiled me and got me a pair. I LOVE them!

He also let the girls loose at the mall to pick out what they wanted to get me. He wanted them to do it. Shayla picked out this cute black shirt. Kaleigh got me skinny jeans, which I swore I'd never wear. Peyton picked out these PINK shoes. Good job girls! (i returned the shoes) :)

Scott an the girls did a great job of making the day relaxing and special for me. I appreciated it! It was actually the best Mother's Day I'd ever had, until I got the horrible call about my brother that night. :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
