Fishing Lessons (playing catch-up)

Back in April we enrolled the girls in the Herriman Fishing Lessons. They were VERY excited to learn. In was an 8 week course that took place every Monday night for about 2 1/2 hours. It was held at a lake just 2 minutes from our house which was very convenient. With their handy dandy hats from Grandpa Griffin, they were ready to rock and roll! Their instructors were great and they taught us all a lot.

Shayla even managed to catch a goose on her first night. Seriously. It was really sad, actually.
Peyton enjoyed playing in the forest right next to the lake during lessons.
The girls were excellent and caught many fish each time.
They became quite the fishers!
And unfortunately wanted me to cook them up each night. :/
They "graduated" and had a blast. Kaleigh received an award for "Most Patient" and Shayla received one for "Best Cast". She has an AMAZING cast!
They celebrated by giving the kids a pizza party that night.

Great experience!

WOW. There's something I've never heard of! How fun! I love that they made you cook the fish up too - did they eat it? What a good experience!
