On April 16th Shayla had her Kindergarten orientation. She was SO excited and had been waiting for this day for a long time. As most of you know, the cut-off date in Utah is September 2nd so she missed the deadline by 23 days. She has been very anxious and more than ready to start school. Here she is with her packet.

That night we decided to do something special for her so we let her plan the night. She picked Winger's for dinner (of coarse) and couldn't wait to get her hands on some Asphalt Pie for dessert.
Peyton was happy with her choice. :)
Then we went to Boondocks for some fun.
It was a great night and we are excited for Shayla to start school. She got her track schedule and teacher. We are doing A track this year and her teacher is Lisa Jackson. We have heard AMAZING things about this woman so we're VERY happy! Hooray for Shay!!!
