My Trip to Cali (playing catch-up)

In late April I flew down to Cali for a few days to attend Sarah's bridal shower. She had no idea I was coming so it was fun to surprise her. I stayed really busy and just helped run a lot of errands and get things in order. It was a lot of fun! I took Dad over to Grandpa and Grandmas old house one morning so he could take Grandpas truck to be smogged. He looked so cute driving it and I just had to take a pic! We went and previewed Sarah's table arrangements for the reception. They were gorgeous!

Mom, Sarah, Lisa and I all went shopping the next day for the shower food. We had SO much fun and went to lunch. My camera wasn't charged so I didn't get any pics. That night Mom, Sarah, Sam and I stayed up real late cutting all the fruit and making the dips. It was a blast!

The next day was Sarah's shower. It turned out beautifully! Speaking of beautiful, here's a pic of me with my beautiful sisters. I love these gals!!!

This is me and my "sista from anotha motha"! lol. I love Sam and am so grateful for all she did for my brother, Mike , and for all she does for my parents. She has a heart of gold!

The day I left me, Mom, Dad, Sarah and Nana went for a long drive along the coast. It was perfect! I seriously adore my Grandma. She means the world to me!

We also went to lunch at Claim Jumper. It is Griffin tradition that you take a few runs on the Love Machine. You simply grab the bar and it tells you what kind of lover you are. Sarah and I took a few turns. It called Sarah a "poor fish". SAD! lol

And it said that I am "burning"! Woot woot!

The food was fabulous and we had a great time!

I LOVE driving the coast! This is Corona Del Mar. The beaches hold a very special place in my heart. I miss them!

I had a wonderful time and felt sad, as usual, to leave family. I was very anxious to get back to Scott and the girls though. Scott did a perfect job of taking care of the girls and the house. What a stud!
