Kaleigh's Baptism (playing catch-up)

Kaleigh made the decision to be baptized and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her special date took place on April 10, 2010. We took her to buy a whole new outfit for her special occasion. She made a great choice and looked gorgeous! She couldn't have been more excited to get baptized. Our growing family....

Our beautiful girls...
We were so thankful that Grandpa and Grandma Biehn made the trip up for her.
Aunt Suzie was there and was a huge help to me that day. (thanks Suz!!!)
I was such a proud Mama that day. It was a very emotional experience. This dress Kaleigh wore to be baptized in was the very same dress I was baptized in 21 years ago. My mom made it.
Scott was also on cloud 9. I felt very grateful that he had made the decision to remain a worthy priesthood holder so he could perform this sacred ordinance for our daughter. I LOVE this picture!
We were so thankful that Grandpa and Grandma Griffin could be there for Kaleigh.
And sweet Nana.
Aunt Nancy came too. Here's us and our firstborn. Man how time flies... (tear)
So happy Aunt Sarah could be there also.
Thank you to Sarah for doing Kay's hair. It was beautiful!
We had a yummy luncheon at our house afterwards. Here's some pics from it...

Kaleigh also got some awesome gifts including her very own scriptures from Nana.
The girls were asked to sing "Families Can Be Together Forever" in Sacrament the following day so they practiced for everyone. They sounded beautiful!

It was a perfect day! We love our sweet little Kaleigh and are so grateful for the beautiful spirit that she is. We look forward to watching her grow and learn!
