Carolee, this one's for you! :)

Ok, so I have a sister in law named Carolee. She is beautiful and here she is:

You know how they say "everyone has a twin somewhere out there"? Well, I think it's true and Carolee's twin lives close by me. I run into her everywhere. This particular time was at the pool.

It freaks us out. Scott and I both always think it's her, and the girls get excited when they see her and excitedly say, "It's Aunt Carolee!!!" :)

November 2011, part 1

November was a good month! I wish it didn't fly by so quickly. We stayed quite busy and had a lot of good times. I have tons of pictures and had trouble picking only my favorite events and pictures. Fall was in full swing with it's crisp, cool weather. Dexter was well-prepared with his cute sweater. (that he loves!) Saturday the 5th was a beautiful morning. It was the first real snow fall! Unfortunately Scott was out of town and Shayla was sleeping over at her friends house so they missed it. I LOVE waking up to this view out my bedroom window. It's always a nice surprise!

I got in the shower and as soon as I got out I smelt something cooking. I went into the kitchen and found this little sweetheart making pancakes completely all by herself!

They were excellent! I was so proud of her. She is really growing up!After Kaleigh's delicious breakfast she and Peyton couldn't wait to suit up and play in the snow.

Sweet sisters ♥

Dexter even has a coat! We got him this cute camo jacket to keep him extra toasty. :)

It even has a furry hood! lol

My little diva Peyton doesn't last long in the snow. She gets too cold and comes in to wrap up in her heated blanket. I love the look she's giving Dexter here! :)

We LOVE the snow!!!

I love having Dad, Mom and Nana so close to us now. It's so much easier to create memories with them, like this Sunday dinner at our house. I love entertaining!

We had a vacation scheduled to California, leaving on the 19th. We got a ton of snow the night before we left. It was a perfect send off and was so beautiful!

On our way to Cali!!!

Our first night we stayed at Scott's brothers house. Thank you Norm and Kris for having us! Kris cooked us a delicious dinner and all the kids had a blast playing together. Here's the girls with Shelly and Bradin.Twister!

The next morning we had a huge breakfast that Norm and Kris made and then we headed to Shaun's baby blessing. This is Coni and Kyle's 1st baby and he is incredibly precious! Coni has been trying for a baby for many years, and at 41 years old, she finally was blessed with one! We are so happy for them and were so thankful that they blessed him when they did so we could be there. Here's the family at the blessing...

Look at all these Biehn's! How cute are they all? From left, Collette, Shelly, Natalie, Peyton, Kaleigh, Shayla, Tessa and Bradin. I'd say Bradin is out-numbered in this picture. :)

After the blessing we all headed to Dad and Mom Biehn's (where we remained) for lunch. Here's Peyton playing with Grandmas famous tea set.

Pretty girls♥

Here's me and sweet Shaun! I love that he's looking right at me. It melted my heart.Scott and Shaun ♥Kaleigh and Shaun ♥

Shayla and Shaun ♥

Peyton and Shaun ♥

Thankfully Natalie and Tessa came over quite a bit to play with the girls. They had so much fun together!

Peyton, Natalie and Shayla were cracking us up! They were stuffing their shirts with baby dolls and then having me assist them in "giving "birth". They were hilarious! They had the heavy breathing down and everything.

Playtime!

On Monday night we went to our favorite restaurant with family. Panda Inn is the best Chinese food! Thank you Dad and Mom Biehn, it was excellent! Here's the girls with their favorite Lo Mein...

That night Jocelyn so nicely braided my hair for me. Have I mentioned that I love her?! Yes, I do. :)

The next morning we went to DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!! Yah baby!!!!

As soon as we entered the park an employee asked to borrow our girls. They had been picked to dance and march around with the Mad Hatter and Alice. It was adorable! What a great welcome.

We went straight to our favorite, Space Mountain. Much to our surprise Peyton was tall enough to go on it now. Yeah! She loved it as much as the rest of us. :)

We found Nemo!!!

Cotton candy anyone?

Dad and Mom met up with us at lunch time and we all had pizza and pasta together. It was great!

Then we did what anyone would do after eating a heavy lunch; we went straight to a fast roller coaster! Peyton and I were Thunder Mountain buddies.

Daddy and the girls ♥

After that Dad and Mom took the girls for a little bit so Scott and I could ride a couple rides together. Thank you! It was a great memory for the girls and wonderful for Scott and I! ;) We're so glad they came. We love them!

Yay....alone time on Matterhorn! I adore this stud monkey!!!!Grandpa and Grandma took the girls on Small World and then spoiled them with giant suckers. Lucky girls! I love this little blue-eyed beauty!

Here's one of our Space Mountain pics. Can you tell that Scott and I know where the camera is and we play to it? ;) (how cute does Shay look here?!)

November 2011, part 2

This was the first time the girls went on Splash Mountain. They were really excited! (and had no idea what they were in store for!) Here we are coming down the huge waterfall. I LOVE Shayla's facial expression in this. Can we say terrified?!

We were all drenched afterwards and the girls were annoyed about that. Shayla got especially wet, being in the front. They did love the ride though. :)

Teacup babies!

Dumbo....a classic.

We stayed at the park until close time, which was midnight. Peyton had a rough time being out that late. She gave us hell until she finally zonked out. Kaleigh and Shayla, on the other hand, were little energizer bunnies. They never wanted to leave despite how tired they were and how bad their feet hurt. We had a PERFECT day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Spaghetti night at Grandpa and Grandma Biehn's. ♥

*Thanksgiving Day* It was a fun day. First, TONS of family on Scott's side headed over to his parents for dinner. It was really crowded, but really fun having everyone together. Here's Kaleigh and cousin Ryan. ♥

Peyton and cousin Bradin

Shayla and cousin Shelly ♥

Happy Thanksgiving, girls!

Me and my baby at the park on Thanksgiving ♥

Later that evening we headed over to Robert and Lisa's for dessert. My cousin Heather carried on a tradition that she had started when I was little of filling our mouths with whipped cream. She was the best babysitter EVER! Mine and Lisa's girls loved it just the same.;)

Shayla, Maddie, Kaleigh, Ava and Peyton eating dessert.

Me and my older sister, Lisa ♥

The next day we all headed to one of my favorite places on earth...Ruby's diner on the Huntington Pier. We had a delicious lunch and lots and lots of laughter!

This is the one place that truly feels like HOME to me. I have spent so much time at Huntington Beach my whole life and miss it. Scott and the girls+ Huntington = heaven to me.

Huntington Pier with cousins ♥

Robert, Scott and girls watching the surfers. I have to say, Lisa and I both got reeeeally lucky with these men. They are both amazing husbands and fathers! Truly amazing. I love them both!

Lisa and I ♥

After lunch we said our goodbyes (boo!) and Rob, Lisa and girls headed home. We stayed at the beach for many more hours and played in the sand and water. Kaleigh and Shayla went on a sea shell hunt...

So much fun! I LOVE this picture!!!

Kaleigh found this awesome sand dollar and was quite happy. She is such a great girl!

Luckily soon after Shayla found one also! They got really lucky. What a cutie, huh?!

This seagull was HUGE! He really liked me and kept walking right up to me the whole time. Unfortunately as I was taking a picture he walked over and tried to steal the girls' prized sand dollars and busted them both in half. What a jerk!Peyton was so mad that she "died" on the sand! Silly baby!

It was a perfect day at the beach! We left at sunset, which was beautiful to drive into.

The next day was our last day in Cali. Peyton and I decided to go to lunch with my friend Sam and her son Adan. We had a good time catching up. I hadn't seen her in forever!

When I got back Norm and Lynne busted out their cotton candy machine for the girls. Grandma makes awesome cotton candy and the girls were anxious to have some.

YUMMY!

That night we went to dinner with my Uncle Mark, Aunt Janet and cousins Eric, Alex and Frank. We had such a great time talking and laughing! I really miss them love being around them all. I am very proud of the MEN that my cousins have become, too. They are awesome guys!

The next morning we headed home bright and early. Thankfully the trip went well and not too slow. We saw this car somewhere in Nevada and got a good laugh. Can they possibly fit more crap on/in it?! lol

We came home to this beautiful and delicious hot meal from Mom on our stove. It was the best surprise and we were extremely grateful cause we were starving and sick of eating fast food. We had a great time in California! We are grateful that we were able to spend so much time with family and create fun memories. We're grateful to Dad and Mom Biehn for their hospitality while we stayed with them! It was fabulous! We look forward to going back in July. :)

A couple days after getting home Kaleighs good friend came over and spent the night. Funny story with it. Dannika decided she wanted to play beauty salon and do the girls hair after getting home from dinner. Harmless right? Nope! First she did Shayla's and all was well.....

Then she decided to use a tiny round brush on Kaleigh's gorgeous and long THICK hair. She got it matted all the way up to the scalp!

Scott and I tried everything to get it untangled but nothing worked. We eventually took her to Mom's to see if she could help. With Mom's help, lots of tears from Kaleigh, lots of careful cutting and untangling... the brush was free! Kaleigh lost a huge chunk of hair but thankfully her thick thick hair hides it well.

Here's a little bit of the hair she lost. Ouch!

Needless to say, we got rid of that stupid brush! ;)
