September was AWESOME!!! We had soooo much fun that month. We started the month off with a bang by doing a stay cation. It was fabulous. On the 1st we went swimming at the Rec Center. Kaleigh LOVES jumping off the high dive. Here she goes...

The we went home and showered and headed to our hotel downtown. We booked a room at our favorite, Anniversary Inn. We got the Romeo and Juliet Suite! The girls were in HEAVEN! They loved the balcony with the bed and huge
tv in it.

The bed was SO comfy!

And the jacuzzi tub was to die for!

We went to dinner at The Garden. The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking.

They even opened the
ceiling, per our request, and the fresh air and beautiful blue sky was perfect to eat under!

Then we walked around the Salt Lake Temple grounds. It was a perfect evening!

Yes, "there is beauty all around". ♥

After we got back to our room the girls had fun in the tub. There was even a
tv in it! Then we ate cheesecake in bed and watched a couple movies. The next morning the hotel brought us an amazing breakfast in bed.

LOVE!!!

The next
afternoon after checking out we headed to the movies to see Mr. Poppers Penguins.

Then we grabbed some frozen yogurt!

That night we camped in the backyard. :)

We LOVE our backyard...and tent. :)

After lunch we headed to Midway for Swiss Days. It was our first time going and we LOVED it! It was so much fun. I bought this adorable Halloween decoration.
Kaleigh was in heaven with the
Swiss chocolate pie. It was incredible!

It was a hot day so we were glad they sold
snow cones!

Our diva decided she didn't want to walk the whole day so poor Scott had to carry her almost all day.
Sheesh!

And the food! Oh, the food! It is amazing. We had their famous BBQ as well as their famous Navajo Tacos. Both were insanely good! If you can't tell by all my other posts.....Scott and I enjoy eating and trying new food. ;)

That night the girls slept on the trampoline under the stars.

The next day we went to
Cowabunga Bay
Water park!

The weather was perfect! Daddy and his girls♥
Kaleigh♥

Shayla♥

Peyton♥ (and I)

Ice cream to cool us off. It was a perfect
stay cation!

The following day was Labor Day and we went to the
Robertson's for another wonderful BBQ. For some reason I can't find those pics. Boo! The 6
th was Peyton's first day of Preschool! She goes on Tuesday and Thursdays for 2 1/2 hours. Big girl!

We met up for lunch with Scott to celebrate.

On the 7
th I was outside with Dexter when my friends dog attacked him and bit his hip. It was
soooo sad! The gash was really deep so I rushed him to our vet. He had to have staples. He was a sad pup. :(

Poor boy! We were SO thankful that this was all that happened. It could have been so much worse.

I was really touched by all the people that heard and came by to check on him. My sweet friend, Victoria, even brought him a get well package. How sweet!

We spend lots of time at the lake. We go whenever we get a chance. It's so wonderful there!
I love my life.
