September 2011, part 2

Peyton has had a hard transition to Shayla now being gone all day. In Kindergarten they only go to school from 8:20 - 11:15 so now that Shay is in 1st grade Peyton is without a play buddy all day. Mommy can only play so much! Luckily Dexter has helped fill the void a little. :) She loves playing the organ!

On the 17th Scott and I had our very first Garage Sale. It was a TON of work because I organized and tagged every single item. I don't think I slept more than 3 hours in the week leading up to it. I had tons of baby clothes to tag so Nana came over one day to help me. In the end, it was worth it. We made over $1700! Not bad for first timers!

On the 15th we went to The Utah State Fair. It was SO fun!!! The girls loved the Ferris wheel.

Yippee!Kaleigh, Shayla and I went on the huge slide. It was a blast!

You can't go to the fair and not eat the seasoned corn. It is delicious!

We went on tons of rides including this one. It's our favorite. Peyton eventually decided she wanted to try the giant slide as well so Scott took her on it. It's 4 stories high!

Yay!

One of our favorite things about the fair is the livestock. The girls, and I, melted over the piglets! They are precious.

Cutie Pies!

The food is another fun thing about the fair. The girls had corn dogs. Scott and I had a Navajo Taco. We also decided to try a fried twinkie and a fried snickers. Both were disgusting! We wanted to get our stomachs pumped afterwards. Lol!

On the 20th Kaleigh and I had a Mother/Daughter Tea Party for Activity Days. It was cute and we loved playing dress up!

Kaleigh was hungry afterwards so we headed to her favorite, Panda Express, for a bite. I love this girl!

September is absolutely GORGEOUS here! Everything is so lush and green and the leaves are starting to change. We continue to spend a lot of time outdoors.

:)

On the 23rd Dad and Mom invited the girls over for their first sleepover. They were SO excited!

The 25th was Shayla's 7th Birthday! She woke up and opened her gifts from us.

For her breakfast she requested egg, cheese and bacon croissants with strawberries. And since her special day fell on a Sunday this year we headed to church...

Here she is with her decorated door.

After church we packed up her favorite veggies and dip and headed to the park to play.

Every Birthday night the girls get to choose their pick for dinner and choose a movie for us all to watch. Shayla chose beef stew and homemade rolls and we watched The Grinch.

For her dessert she chose banana splits!

And then Shay got her birthday spankings from Daddy. It was a great day. Happy 7th Birthday, Shayla Angela!

The 29th was Peyton's 4th Birthday! She chose homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

I felt bad that everyone was gone for her day. The girls had school and Scott was obviously at work. Even Peyton had preschool so Scott and I decided to meet up and take her to the mall for lunch and fun after preschool. She and Scott went in the hurricane simulator.

And we went on the train and carousal!

That evening she opened all her gifts from us.

She chose Chicken Alfredo bow tie pasta and garlic bread for dinner. We also watched The Corpse Bride.

Movie time!

Peytie Pie with her decorated door.

For her dessert she asked me to make her pink cupcakes.

And she finished the night off with spankings from Daddy. What a fun day! Happy 4th Birthday, Peyton Cherei!
